Artist Profile: Rob Rippa (Folk / Acoustic)

Rob Rippa was born on September 8th 1983. Rob was introduced to music at a very early age by his mother and grandfather. He would listen and imitate everyone from Ritchie valens and Hank Williams to Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. They noticed he had a talent unseen at his age and he was given his first guitar at age five. In his high school years Rob became an extremely lyrical emcee taking trips to nyc to battle and expand his skill. He released several hip hop albums most notably Ransom note and the human experience and many appearances on Houston's own dj chills famous mixtapes.

At twenty five years of age Rob began recording folk music, with modern contemporary political overtones blended with surreal poetic expression. Songs like makes me sick and inspired by chimes of freedom gained him publicity and he was invited to play at several protest events including end the fed Houston. Today he has some of the most challenging lyrics in the business and his name can be found saturated on the net.
